2022 Ford Mustang

Everyone knows the name Mustang. Synonymous with fun driving, power and dynamism, the Ford Mustang has been the queen of muscle cars since its creation in the mid-60s. Redesigned over the years, it is more modern than ever, and its many versions, from the most sensible, the Ecoboost-powered coupe, to the athletic Shelby GT500, confirm that it is still the one that turns heads and gets the hearts beat on the road.

Quieter

Not all Mustangs are excessive, but all are fantastic to drive. The base Mustang features a 2.3-litre EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine that produces 310 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. This rear-wheel-drive sports car, which comes in many versions, is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic whose precision is no longer to be boasted.

More extreme versions

You can't call yourself a Ford Mustang without going overboard. That's what the Mustang GT and its 5.0-litre, 460-horsepower V8 engine offer. The Mustang Mach One, inspired by the original and historical version, increases this power to 480 horsepower, while the Shelby GT500 is at the top of the performance charts with its 5.2-litre V8 producing 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque. Of course, the suspension, steering and chassis have been redesigned to accommodate the extra power.

A welcoming car

Beyond performance, the Ford Mustang is also a car of undeniable comfort, both in a coupe and convertible versions. Press the start button, and you'll enjoy the purr of the engine. Exhaust noise can be modulated as needed through the digital instrument panel, while the center console displays its SYNC system and its multiple comfort and entertainment functions.
